My cat is very messy when it comes to her litter box-she throws litter (and sometimes other litter box contents) all around and sometimes pees too close to the edge and it makes a mess on my hardwood floor. I’ve tried a larger box but she still sometimes goes too close to the edge so I was cleaning litter and pee off my floor daily at times-something had to change. When I found these large plastic mats I knew I had to try them. What a difference they have made!! She still throws litter out of her box and pees at the edge but now instead of ruining my floor it lands on the mat-making cleanup easier and keeping my floors safe. The mats are easy to clean-if it’s just litter I vacuum the mats, leaving them in place and if they are wet it’s easy enough to remove the mats and wash them. If you have a messy cat I recommend these mats to help keep the mess contained and easier to clean.
