I'm no expert and there are lots of online resources you can search for if you want more details.Weighing in at 2.2kg (5 pounds), this little dinosaur weighs almost as much as a real Hug-O-Saurus. It has a removable weighted filling so it can be washed when needed, and at 22.5 inches from nose to tail, it is certainly big enough to get a heavy-duty hug out of it.It comes with its own zipped plastic storage/carry case to keep it clean when not on duty, and the big, doe eyes change it from ferocious to very definitely friendly. Far from cheap but it's a good size and if it works for the recipient, you get a toy and a little soothing therapy at the same time.

I absolutely love this thing! Not only is the contruction of it clearly high quality, but the size of it is positively wondeful. You really feel like you have a little animal on your lap when you sit with this thing. And not only that but the stuffing seems to be arranged just right to feel as if it is giving you hug when you lift it up. I do feel like the weight is perhaps a little too much for a small child or a toddler who mayy struggle to lift it up or have it on top of them, but for an older kid I think it is great, especially if they are interested in having a pet but are not quite ready for the responsibility yet.The only downside I have seen with it is that the velcro strip along its belly has quite a sharp edge to it. If you brush your hand the wrong way or grip it wrong then it gives you a rather unpleasant scratch, another reason why I think it would be better for older children. But for the adorable face it has I think this is a small flaw and nowhere near enough to say I would not recommend it.
