Wow... so I'm trying to learn to decorate cakes, all self taught through online videos. I have been using a clunky plastic one I've had for a while that has no weight in it or smooth running. I've just taken this one out of the box and set it on the worktop, it's a huge difference and I'm so glad I've gone for this one. Also the palette knife and cake lifter are quite solid so they will be great to smoothing and spreading etc. The little plastic scrapers/smoother will also come in handy for the smaller cakes too. I feel I've actually got a good deal with this and for me it was worth the money I've paid.
