It looks amazing, came with the stand to be used as a display piece.With all the accessories you might think it could be used for playing:It came with a cord, protective bag and even included a few pages on songs to play with the fingering chart for the 12 hole ocarina.However when trying to actually play, a few notes sound close, but others are way way off. I compared the notes using a tuner (sheffield mt-40). When testing, it came no where close to being Alto C.For example, all hole open should be an F ; but is actually (close) to a G.As it turns out, I have actually received an "Alto D" ocarina, not an Alto C.This coincidentally makes the actual scale used in the book correct (b in the middle), but all the images are wrong.E.g.:The provided "A" in the book has closed-closed-open-closed (for the left hand), (with both thumbs closed as well).But the Alto D needs closed-closed-closed-closed (with both thumbs closed as well) to provide the actual A sound.

It is poorly constructed for a musical instrument. It’s out of tune, I watched many youtube videos flagging this issue about this model. I am returning it and will look for more reviews outside pf Amazon from people who don't buy ocarinas for cosplay only

My husband loved this gift. Well made and durable. Only issue was that the hand holder does not do a great job and the ocarina falls off a lot. Could just be us though?Overall a lovely item.

L'article est vraiment beau. Il le semble avoir une grand taille sur la photo mais il est comme même petit. Il se tient sur la paumé d'une main. La confection est vraiment super. J'ai eu du mal à positionner l'objet sur la main blanche contenu dans le paquet (ma faute sûrement). Objet de collection pour ma part

The ocarina is physically perfect. The price is perfect. The stand made me want to throw a lounge through a sliding glass door. The ocarina cannot stand on the hand shaped stand in any of the 3 pictured positions. I has to rotate it and put one of the holes on the hands finger to even slightly support it and it I even breath near it, it will slide off. I feel like one of the fingers is about 1.5mm smaller than it should be in order to support it as pictured. Will have to try to get some kind of subtle white felt pad to try to make it work. Instrument is beautiul though and the music book is lovely. Can't wait to learn it and if I am no good at it, then it is a beautiful display piece. I was shocked at the cheap price. Great value.
