Surprisingly, the product was shipped in its normal box, like off the shelf!... (not in another more protecting box) with UPS labels on the side, and arrived punctured on one side, and ripped open on the other. Luckily the glass jar was not damaged! Also, when I tried to latch the top, the metal band to pull the lid down popped off, and then broke when I tried to adjust the width (cheap metal). I had to make a new one out of a coat hanger! Works great. But pay me... Otherwise, I love the vessel. Can't wait to use it!
