De OM-3 doet ondanks zijn compacte formaat geen concessies aan de beeldkwaliteit. 一昔前のマイクロフォーサーズ(M4/3 )のカメラと比べれば、格段に素晴らしい写真が撮れる。機能もとても豊富だし、N/Dフィルタなどの他社がまだキャッチアップできていない機能も盛り込まれている。もうフルサイズはいらないのではないかと思えるほどだ。このクラシックなデザインのカメラで飛行中の鳥にピントが合わせることができるのは感激でしかない。ただ最新のM4/3レンズはOM-3には似合わない。またグリップがないのも使いづらい。グリップをつけてその部分にメカの一部を移すことにより、サイズをもう少し小さくしてもらえれば文句ないのだが、そのような欠点があっても星５つに値するユニークさがある。

Esta cámara es una de las más bonitas y difíciles de conseguir. Su calidad de construcción es excelente: moderna, con un aspecto retro que me encantó... y por fin la tengo en mis manos.

Die Kamera macht einfach Spaß. Nutze das tolle 20mm 1.4 und das Panasonic 9mm hauptsächlich mit der OM-3. Aber auch mein 12-100 kann ich ohne Probleme verwenden. Das 40-150 F4 sowieso. Bedienung passt, Sucher ist für mich als Brillenträger wirklich gut und der Mono 2 S/W Modus sieht einfach klasse aus.Die OM-3 ist genau das was ich erhofft hatte. Eine OM-1 MK2 in einem hochwertigen und schicken Gehäuse. Keine Kompromisse bei der Bildqualität und den Features. Der Preis ist hoch, aber ich hab mit der Kamera bisher mehr Spaß als mit der X100VI die dafür gehen musste. Wenn die sich irgendwann bei 1.500 € einpendelt, passt auch der Preis für alle.

Superb camera; especially if you like the shape. Most of the capabilities of the OM1ii - just missing the 2nd card slot, which does not bother me. Extremely well made: metal body yet not too heavy. Can't fault it; I can recommend buying the TP case for it on Amazon, from Jason Cui.

The Om-3 handles fine with a short light lens, but really misses not having a finger grip at the front of the body, to help support my 12-100mm heavier lens.Most of the buttons fail due to not being raised enough and often have to be pressed extra hard to get the function to work. I find the on-off switch awkward, and the creative switch at the front would have benefited from having a lever button.The instructions manual is useless, and the online manual does not go into any depth, and has no alphabet index to quickly find the function you’re searching for, and has no return arrow to return to the previous page. I have to resort to watching YouTube videos to get some information about features on the camera. The ND filter is a good feature but should have gone up to 10, it’s currently at 6 which is not enough on a bright sunny day to get a long enough exposure. The camera looks great but beware of its foibles.
