My rotary blade was rusted. After wet sanding the surface, I still hard to sharpen the edge. With the Omni grid sharpener, it did the job of dressing the cutting edge. I did however, use 240 and 400 grit sandpaper, used a 5 cm round cutter and a 4 cm round cutter (positioned carefully) to make my own sanding disc for the Omni gridEdit: even thought the Omni grid is Green and Colonial is blue, the plastic indicates Tri-Sharp .. so get whichever is on sale!

I had reservations about trying this sharpener but I'm tired of buying new rotary cutter blades all the time, but this little contraption is worth it's weight in gold! It's so simple to use and WOW, it made my worst blade that was skipping, chewing and took gorilla force to use, better than it was when I first put it in my cutter!You simply get a droplet of water on your finger, run it along the abrasive surface to lubricate and give it a few twists and before you know it, the blade is SUPER SHARP again! It has a fine and a super fine side and I will never again throw my old, blunt blades away.Best this I've bought all year!

This works very well, is easy to use. Has given my rotary blades a new lease of life.

Does exactly what it promises to do, my blade is nice and sharp and I don’t have to buy a new one. Easy to use and comes with instructions. Highly recommended.

Für mich funktioniert das irgendwie. Aber nicht genug, dass ich keinen Druck ausüben muss, um die Klinge zu benutzen. Es ist nicht „wie neu“.Dann nehme ich besser eine Schere. Mit besseren Klingen scheint es besser zu funktionieren. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich nicht in einen Rollschneider investiert, da er im Vergleich zu einer Schere extrem teuer wird. Ich neige dazu, mit technischen Stoffen oder Stoffen mit hohem Denier-Wert zu arbeiten.
