The lock came without keys which makes the lock useless, I wait for the lock for whole week and it’s a waste of time.I saw paper card attached on a lock in others’ reviews, for mine there’s no paper card attached and the small package of the mount is already cut open.

I like it 95% of the year, but when it's below 0 degrees it can get locked up and hard to open

All locks can be cut or picked. Videos showing top locks being picked including this one but this one took a bit of time and most likely will make a lock picker move on to another bike. Some of the budget locks online claim to be pickproof are picked easily on video reviews. It's also important to have the lock side facing the ground at an angle or in a position where you can't move the lock from side to side making it hard to move the lock to feel the sliders, making it difficult to pick the lock. These locks have a Quattro locking mechanism with a crossbar preventing bending or twisting of the lock. Check to make sure that all 4 sides lock and unlock without difficulty. ( photo down below). Mine is working well. Now on to the Shackle which is 16.8 mm of hardened steel TriRadius shackle. Bolt cutters resistant. There's a video of this lock destroying the blades of a hydraulic cutter and barely leaving a mark on the shackle. If you see a video or image of this lock or any top locks cut it would be by a power tool. So common sense locations to lock the bike with pedestrian traffic. Even a battery-powered thief is not going to draw attention with sparks. Overall this is a very solid lock with a 97 security rating. OnGuard has been known to make decent budget locks, this is a step up for them at Kryptonite NY series or Abus top-line league at an affordable price. I have read all the negative reviews on this lock and most are about the lock mount. It's hardened plastic and I haven't tried it yet. I may never put it on as I like keeping my frame light and keep my locks in my backpack if I'm going to lock my bike up somewhere. To me, the mount is not as important as the quality of the lock. But saying that I read reviews that people had no problems with the mount. The second negative thing that I read about that is in every lock's negative review is that the lock gets hard to turn. It's important to keep locks lubricated with Triflow or a 3-1.WD-40 is good for getting rid of debris but use a lubricant right after. You would be surprised how little debris or weather change can make a lock difficult. Everything seemed to work fine on mine testing it out and using it.. I'll use a bit of lock lubricant to keep it working properly. I use this lock to lock the frame, the back tire with a post and with a steel cable looped in locking the front tire and frame. I also use an additional double cable to look front and back. Some might think that's overkill, but the few extra seconds could save me my ride. A thief's enemy is time. They don't want to fiddle around and will move on to an easier target. My bike was top back in its day, now an older bike. But they will go after any bike that is quick to grab for a quick buck. (I just wanted to add that after a few hard rides with the lock in my bag the bracket on the shackle must have moved all so slightly even though it seemed right because it prevented me from having the shackles locked properly. I took the bracket off and it works great. Keep that in mind if you do keep the bracket on for the mount and having problems locking.)

Great lock, yes it’s very heavy! But you want it to be to make it secure. Price was brilliant compared to other D-Locks too.

The lock is beefy and looks strong. Comes with a mount, which makes it portable. I use it to lock my ebike.
