This takes very little time to inflate. The trick is timing so that the air doesn’t leak out when you fasten the plug. Once inflated it’s not very thick and there is no flocking, which isn’t very comfortable. With a pillow case or a shirt covering it, it’s better than nothing. Also, I had no issues with the air leaking out so the seams are decent. I’d give this 3.5 if that was possible.

This is a great thing to take on a hike instead of a chair. It weighs less than a chair and you can use it to kneel on if the ground is wet. It would be great for sitting on cold metal bleachers also. The valve has a clicker type button that you press to inflate. It makes a one way valve. Press it again to let the air out. The OD green color is my favorite for outdoor gear. It only takes a few breaths to inflate.
