Wij hebben dit product inmiddels al 4 jaar(!) En hij werkt nog steeds fantastisch. Accu werkt nog steeds goed, is al een paar keer van de kast gevallen (en geduwd :)) maar hij werkt nog alsof hij nieuw is. Kinderen vinden het fijne geluiden om mee in slaap te komen.

Very good quality and does what it is supposed to do.

I wanted to give 1 star for usability alone but it won’t do justice for its other traits. The power button needs long press; the light can not be turned on unless the sound is on; the green light is way too bright; the layout of the buttons makes no sense and lead to wrong presses all the time. On the good side, it has very nice build quality and sound. I really wish the manufacturer could iterate this product.

Ik heb het toestel gekocht in 2021 om beter te kunnen slapen met tinnitus en hyperacusis. De batterij is na 2 jaar nog steeds prima en de lichtjes werken goed (ookal gebruik ik dit zelden). Maar de volumeknop is vanaf het begin volledig onbetrouwbaar. Als je het volume wil aanpassen, moet je meestal de knop een aantal keren volledig ronddraaien vooraleer het volume verandert. Als het dan uiteindelijk verandert, kan het zijn dat het plots superluid of superstil is, of dat hij net luider gaat in plaats van stiller. Bijzonder frustrerend zoals je kan begrijpen. De geluiden zelf kan ik moeilijk oordelen omdat het mijn eerste toestel in het genre is dat ik gebruik. Maar wat me stoort bij een aantal van de witte ruisgeluiden er op de achtergrond soms een 'extra' geluid is, zoals een drup of een getik. Dit verstoort voor mij het effect van de witte ruis omdat ik dan ga focussen op dat gedrup. Daarnaast vind ik de meeste natuurgeluiden niet rustgevend. Sommigen zijn te 'agressief', er is te veel 'contrast' tussen stille en harde geluiden (vb. paar seconden wat regen, dan een luide donder, dan weer bijna stil; of luide golf, stilte, luidere golf, stilte ...). Ik ga op zoek naar een ander toestel om deze te vervangen...

After 1,5 years I had to send it back to warranty. The volume knob is not working anymore. Furthermore, it stops in the middle of the night, even though it is powered. Tried with different cables and chargers. I do not recommend this product.

Die White Noise Machine von RENPHO ist genau das, was Sie vorgibt zu sein: eine Maschine für weißes Rauschen (und andere Töne, Melodien und Hintergrundgeräusche).Wenn man ohne großen Aufwand Geräusche in der beschriebenen Art hören möchte, und das schnell und einfach, mit einem Timer, dann ist es ein super praktisches Gerät. Wir verwenden es hauptsächlich um unser Baby zu beruhigen und zum einschlafen zu bringen und dafür ist es top. Sonst hatte ich immer mit dem Handy oder über den Computer etwas laufen lassen und das ist immer mit Aufwand verbunden und die Geräte brauche ich auch anderweitig wenn das Kind mal schläft. Und das hier ist durch den Akku flexibel einsetzbar und strahlt nicht vor sich hin (Handynetz). Abgesehen davon empfiehlt mir jetzt Spotify schon Babygeräusche als "meinen Mix der Woche"...Mit der White Noise Machine ist das viel einfacher geworden. Gerät anschalten, es merkt sich was vorher eingestellt war und dann läuft die Sache samt Timer. Für mich sehr praktisch und den Kleinen beruhigt es auch (hier muss man gewiss durchprobieren welche Geräusche gut ankommen, bei mir ist es bislang das Meeresrauschen, Herzschlag, brummender Ventilator / weißes Rauschen und die Einschlaf Melodien).Zuerst soll man das Gerät aufladen und anschließend kann es über den Akku laut Angaben bis zu 9 Stunden benutzt werden. Ich habe die Zahl nicht überprüft aber das Gerät war letzte Woche täglich, teilweise mehrfach, im Einsatz und ich denke die Angabe könnte stimmen, denn bislang musste ich nicht aufladen.Nachdem ersten Einschalten fängt direkt schon ein Lüftergeräusch an zu spielen, wobei die gute Tonqualität echt überrascht für das kleine Gerät. Es klingt nicht blechern und flach sondern eher so als würde da wirklich ein Ventilator oder ähnliches stehen. Die Lautstärke lässt sich regeln und passt für uns auch gut. Das Gerät ist auch nicht zu leicht und hat auf der Unterseite einen Gummiring, durch den es nicht rutscht auf glatten Oberflächen. Die Haptik ist wertig.Neben der Soundkulisse ist auch ein Licht am Gerät welches sich dimmen lässt und pulsieren kann. Hier lassen sich verschiedene Farben wählen.Eine Beschreibung der verfügbaren Töne steht in der Produktbeschreibung, weswegen ich diese hier nicht wiederhole. Jedoch finde ich persönlich die Wahl gut gelungen. Ich hätte vielleicht noch mehr Melodien gebrauchen können, das sind nur zwei - jedoch bevorzuge ich sowieso weniger Musik und eher Naturklänge oder weißes Rauschen. Es gibt auch Töne auf die ich hätte ganz verzichten können, nämlich ein tropfender Wasserhahn und eine tickende Uhr. Ansonsten ist die Auswahl für uns aber groß genug und qualitativ gut.Die Box kann wirklich nur als White Noise Machine und als Licht eingesetzt werden und nicht anderweitig benutzt werden, z.B. als zusätzlicher Speaker. Für den beworbenen Einsatzzweck kann ich das kleine Gerät durchaus empfehlen.

È un gingillo meraviglioso! Ho un problema con gli inquilini del piano di sopra che fanno un gran casino e partono dalla mattina presto, per cui mi son detta "proviamo".Mi ha davvero alleviato dallo stress e mi aiuta tantissimo a prendere sonno, perchè è davvero rilassante.Intanto è proprio bellina, piccola, non occupa tantissimo spazio, ma è anche pesantuccia, il che significa che non è un troiaino di plastica. Mi piaceva molto l'idea del cerchio colorato, ha molti colori e intensità diverse, al buio risaltano tantissimo!Il suono si sente bene, anche a volumi alti, ci sono tante varietà di "rumore", ne ho già trovate 3 gradevolissime (onde, treno e temporale).C'è anche un timer, 30/60/90 e infinito, io uso spesso 90, così so che poi si spegne da sola e non consuma inutilmente la batteria, tanto io per quell'ora già dormo. E infatti l'ho caricata solo la prima volta, dopo 3 utilizzi ancora è vivissima.Consigliatissima se avete difficoltà a rilassarvi prima di dormire o magari vi infastidiscono rumori esterni.

This RENPHO sound machine is very similar to a Homecube machine that I bought for my bedroom, to help distract from tinnitus and provide a relaxing environment for sleep. The two machines have the same sound samples and are functionally similar but different shapes. Having been impressed with the Homecube, I bought the RENPHO for another room. This review therefore repeats much of my review of the Homecube.The RENPHO has a nice design with up-pointing speaker and buttons enclosed by a ring of light. Out of the box, it was larger than I expected and seemed fairly weighty with good-quality construction. It can be charged from a USB source in relatively short time, a couple of hours or so, and lasts a reasonable amount of time on one charge, possibly several hours, although this may depend on the features used. The device is fairly easy to use.The machine has a good number and variety of sounds (29 in all). I have no interest in the white noise and fan sounds, of which there are many, but some people may find them useful. The main attraction for me is the natural sounds, of which there are 15. Not all are to my taste, but for my use I like the birdsong, waves, campfire, thunderstorm, stream and ticking clock. The lullaby and music-box are nice, but more for use with children. The sounds are supposed to be non-looping - I'm not sure whether this is strictly true as there could be some random repetition of the same sounds. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a small unit. You might expect the sound to be tinny, but it is not - for example, you can clearly hear the rumbling of the thunder.The light is another nice feature. You can have it on or off, and choose a colour. Some colours work well with the sounds - for example, the red light with the campfire sound provide a warm and cosy feel, which I can imagine as nice to have on just while sitting during the Winter.The sleep-timer is a useful feature - you can set the device to run for 30, 60 or 90 minutes.In my opinion, this is an excellent product that could be invaluable to tinnitus sufferers as well as those needing a comforting sound to get off to sleep. The main difference between this and the Homecube is the shape, and the RENPHO also has a rotary volume control. I prefer the Homecube for its more compact rain-drop shape and front-speaker but this is a matter of personal taste.
