This does everything I needed in a yarn holder. The wooden parts are nice and strong plus they have a nice look to them. It was a very, very simple assembly process and was easy to use just a couple minutes out of the box. The magnet that holds the piece where the yarn goes wouldn’t be for anything heavy duty but is strong enough for the purpose of holding yarn.I wasn’t able to use it for some of the yarn that has a smaller hole in the middle but it should work for most. While I don’t know of any now, there would probably b ways of working around this issue.

Purchased one of these and works fine does not drop keeps yarn in place with magnet very happy with this item
