I grew up in the U.S. in the 50's and 60s. That is when I learned baking skills from my mother and when I became familiar with the pastry cutter. This tool is essential for making pie dough, super for blending butter and sugar when making cookie dough. I have lived in Belgium for the last 20 years and was surprised not to see these sold with other cooking utensils at the shops. Now I am retired and taking more time to bake. So, I popped online to see if pastry cutters can be found in the EU et voilà! Very handy product, works great, sensible size to hold and use

I use this to mash boiled eggs for egg sandwiches. Works great. Nice sturdy design. I recommend it.
