Cleans greatI work with soil. My phone charger wouldn't stick into the hole that easily. And headphones would come disconnected if I touched my phone.I got a lot of dirt and dust out. And even chiseled out some packed in dirt.

I was surprised by how much dust and lint had built up in my phone’s charging port. This cleaning kit made it super easy to remove all the gunk without damaging anything. The tools are simple but effective, and the brush is gentle enough not to scratch. My charging cable fits perfectly again—definitely worth it if your phone isn’t charging properly or if you just want to keep things tidy.

This is a very small device & charging cable cleaning kit that I purchased, along with many other items, to thoroughly clean charger cables, bricks, and the following devices (so far): iPhone, iPad, iPod MaxPro headphones, a MacBook, and a ReMarkble2 tablet. I don’t have any regrets about purchasing this particular cleaning set, as it is very portable, but it is fairly low quality and has a limited shelf life depending on use. The value makes sense if you clean your devices regularly and need something smaller for easy charging portal cleaning, charging cable cleaning, and similar between your more regular device maintenance. It worked for my purposes because I ordered it with so many other items and I learned that these things really need cleaning regularly.The cleaning “spray” made me laugh and I needed it, so it was helpful for its comedic value. It didn’t spray at all: I poured some on the front and back of the depicted iPad and used a soft cloth to wipe it off. Then I used wipes designed for cleaning screens to finish cleaning the iPad and everything else I cleaned.One word of caution - if you’re like me and never cleaned the charging ports on your devices, watch some videos and proceed with caution. I might’ve caused some problems with my RM2 tablet (which naturally is the device that is most difficult to get serviced stateside). But anytime you are cleaning around the ports and buttons of any device, you run the risk of damaging the connection points or the buttons on the device, which may be soldered into the device making repairs expensive. Just my 2¢.

Bought this because my iPhone was having a hard time charging, and charging plugs not staying in. My charging port was full of lint and dirt, and until I realized that, I actually considered upgrading to a new phone! However, once it figured it out, I got this kit and used it to clean my phone’s charging port, and now all my plugs work like they should and my phone charges up nicely. 15 bucks saved me the cost of a new phone!

The product arrived a day later than advertised but it did have another product that was arriving with it and given the recent news that’s causing delays in delivery is of nobody’s fault so I don’t mind. I cannot review the entire points that I try to make in order to help buyers understand the product before they make a decision as the product that I had purchased arrived with packaging that had no tape or anything that adhered the top and as you can see in the pictures above the top of the box is slightly opened at the top right hand side to the middle. Upon opening (the rest of the way at least) the product has everything in it accounted for, the instructions are pretty difficult to understand and could easily lead to confusion, which could lead to a problematic situation. I did check if everything was accounted for and if everything was as it claimed to be in the description, which I can confirm that it is. The cleaning tools in this kit has an extension that also doubles as a camera lens and phone screen wiper for dust and fingerprint removal, but upon trying each tool (as far as inserting the tool into the extension tool is not very useful as there’s nothing to hold the tool in place and it is prone to falling out. The liquid solution in the clear vile (second picture, last item in the back row on the right side) was leaking out from the what I assume is the lid that wasn’t sealed properly, resulting in my fingers getting drenched in the stuff. The manual is even more vague about how much to use, and what the liquid even is, resulting in my immediate concern about my safety as well as the safety of my equipment and devices so I left everything as it came and I will be returning the product. Our family just narrowly survived an apartment fire almost a week ago and I have not had time to do any more reviews or returns on my pre return items that I pray that customer service or the seller is willing to work with me on. But quality, (this is my personal experience so please note that everyone’s experience is going to vary) is about a 3/10versatility seems pretty plentiful for just about any iPhone, Android, earbuds or chargers/charging cables and ports that have accumulated dust, dirt and other particles over time. The tools are very device friendly, except for one or two that have a very sharp tip or abrasive tip on it and I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you’re testing them on a device or charger that is not your primary device or charging mechanism. Appearance is in need of improvement, not sure how it would affect charging and the value for money is a 5.5/10 for meSome things that the company can do to improve their customer satisfaction and sales experience is to,1.) update your user manual to make it easier to understand, in the case that one of your customers accidentally damages their device or charger.2.) give clear instructions on how much liquid solution to use and where to put it as well as the ingredients for the solution.3.) Offer some sort of solution for any accidental damage caused by the vague and not beginner friendly instructions whether it’s a device protection system in the form of a certain amount of money that can cover the cost of repairs and replacements due to the lack of proper educational materials that come with the product, (or something similar to that effect.4.) You have customers who are not very tech savvy and may have some intellectual disabilities and may need more clear, concise and informative advice on how to use the product.Would I recommend purchasing this product? Based on the numerous encounters of issues with the product in a whole, I cannot recommend this product to anyone who is not familiar with the brand and the product itself. I PLEASE Recommend that you read this review before purchasing this product and to the business, I hope that my recommendations have helped you to make better choices and safety precautions in the very near future and I will be happy to test it.
