This is a review for the XL version of the Oregon Waipoua Chainsaw Protective Safety Trousers.These are from a well-known brand for safety clothing, and they come in a nice retail box.The protection factor is quite high for the money, which is just a fraction of the very best professional kit. It has multi-layer protection designed to unravel and trigger a safety cutoff in the chainsaw immediately after contact.It won’t stop all injuries, but it will prevent life-threatening accidents in the vast majority of cases.In terms of the finishing and overall quality I have to say they are good, even priced at over £100. The zips are all very strong and solid, and the trousers are not too stiff, working for long periods is not a problem. They are however quite heavy for their size, so hot days might be an unpleasant experience. The colourings are all appropriate and make the outfit stand out without needing the crazy yellow safety standard assaulting your eyes.Using these when doing saw work is a great load off my mind. I work faster because I don’t need to be scared that a touch of the saw will take my leg off. Confidence makes you fast in your work.Despite the relatively low price these are a great bit of clothing for beginner or parttime chainsaw workers.Excellent all-round, and hopefully they will never be called on to save my leg.

Die Hose fällt von der Größe her standardmäßig aus, ist nicht so warm wie viele andere Schnittschutzhosen, bin auch beim ersten Einsatz an Dornenbüschen hängengeblieben ohne irgendwelchen Schaden. Mit entsprechenden Hosenträgern kann ich diesen Artikel nur empfehlen
