Werkt zowel op laptop als op smart tv met Crucial SSD schijf. Had al een blauwe variant. Bij deze zwarte was de kabel opmerkelijk korter maar doet wat het moet doen.

For me it only worked on USB-3 ports with USB-A to USB-C cable and SATA disks that are not too old.On USB-2 (with USB-A to USB-C cable) or USB-C ports (with an USB-C to USB-C cable), the computer sees something is connected (drive letter appears in Windows Explorer) but when the drive is accessed, Windows Explorer hangs. Windows Disk Manager does not see a disk and hangs too until I disconnect the drive. On USB-C, I had to connect an USB-C docking station with USB-3/USB-A connector to get the drive recognized.Also an old 120GB SATA harddisk gave the same problems. More modern SATA harddisks and SSD worked fine but only on a USB-3 port.From an USB external harddisk, I expect it to work no matter what type of USB port it is connected to. An older Orico model with USB3 (micro-B) connector instead of USB-C connector, works in all situations where this model did not work.

Ich habe eine günstige SSD als Backup Platte verbaut. Die Datenrate ist nicht überragend aber das kann an der Platte liegen. Das Gehäuse ist schraubenlos montierbar und ziemlich robust. Würde ich für diesen Zecke auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

The hard drive enclosure works great. It can pass-through SeaTools S.M.A.R.T self-test command to the HDD with no problem. (Some enclosure/external drives can't)It had no problem with a 1TB SSD, 2TB laptop HDD, or 1TB SSHD. I was able to use Minitool Partition Manager/Clonezilla clone from internal drive to this enclosure with no problem.Temperature isn't too bad too, it slowly creeped up to 47C (ambient 23) when doing the self-test. Better than it was inside my laptop.The induced USB-C cable is adequate. While the blue indicator light is there, just very dim. You can only see it at almost straight-on in better lighting, maybe not a bad thing for some users.

Lekko czuć tandeta, biorąc do ręki marnej jakości plastik. Wkladanie/wyciąganie dysków lekko utrudnione. Testowane z 2 ssd i jednym HDD, za każdym razem zapis i odczyt 200 GB. Nie przerwała transmisji, chociaż obudowa jest dość wybredna co do komputerow/portów. Czasem początkowe transfery na ssd szły po 300-400 MB/s, czasem że stawiało się połączenie na USB 2.0. Przy tych samych dyskach i laptopach. Ogolnie: żaden szał, ale bez tragedii. Raczej taka sobie jakoś za nie wygórowana cenę.
