After deciding I wanted to get a heated gilet for my husband's christmas I started doing a lot of research as these things can often be a hit or miss.I read up on just about every brand on the market and had almost made my decision on this one when I found an excellent independent review where the guy had chosen his top 5 and this one had the number 1 spot, so my mind was made up.As this was a gift the trickiest part was trying to get the correct size. My husband, since I met him has worn a size Large in absolutely everything, however quite a few people said this came up large so I wasn't sure if I should order medium instead. There is a size guide but I didn't want to give the game away by getting out the measuring tape and wrapping it around my husband's chest!When this was wrapped and under the tree I had an opportunity to measure his chest to get an idea on what size of jumper to buy my dad and his chest measured 39" - according to the size chart I should have opted for medium, and sadly, when he opened his pressie it was indeed too big. I was so disappointed, but quickly ordered a size medium and sent back the large.The medium is a perfect fit, so the size chart is accurate.Now into the important part - this works amazingly well. My husband absolutely LOVES it. Not only does it look really good on him but the heating part works really well and the battery lasts as long as it states in the description (depending on which heat setting you have it on).One thing he particularly loves is that the collar is heated - there aren't many on market with this feature. The battery is small and neat but lasts well. I ordered another battery so that he can keep toasty all time.Expensive but worth the money.

Ich habe mir diese Weste für den Einsatz im Außendienst gekauft.Am Anfang ist das Gewicht der Weste und der mitgeführte Akku ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das alles legt sich dann, wenn der Kollege an der frischen kalten Luft friert und man selbst anfangt zu schwitzen weil die Weste so gut wärmt.Das ganze funktioniert auf 3 Stufen und je nach gewählter Stufe für eine bestimmte Zeit.Beim Einschalten der Weste heizt diese kurz auf. ( etwa 30sek. bis 1min.) Nach dem Aufheizen, wird in der zuletzt gewählten gewärmt. 1 (Weiss) ist die geringste Stufe und „stabilisiert“ die Körpertemperatur. Stufe 2(Blau) wärmt bei kalten Temperaturen (getestet bei etwa -3 bis -15 Grad)und die 3. Stufe (rot) sorgt für richtige Hitze.- Je höher die Stufe, desto schneller geht der Akku leer.- Auf Stufe 1 hält der Akku etwa 5-6 Std. auf Stufe 3 etwa 2 Stunden.- Akku lässt sich per USB / Netzstecker aufladen.Bei entsprechendem Wetter ist die Weste absolut zu empfehlen.Getestet auf der Arbeit und auf Weihnachtsmärkten.

- Arrived yesterday, put on and use it for two days- Product arrived on time,- ordered XL which is my normal size and fitted, (I have a big belly)- feel more heat on neck and back, less at the front- it runs on a DC plug itself, which means that you can't use a normal power bank for it- sometimes it switch between high heat and medium heat,- it done its job, keep me warm

This was a gift I bought my boyfriend and it was honestly such a good present that I bought myself one shortly after and even over a year later another one for someone else.I know it seems expensive but it is really good value for money when you get this much wear out of it.The comfort of it is really good and the ease of use is so user friendly, just plug the battery in and push the button to warm up.Its very lightweight and as it is just plain black in colour its very easy to wear it with anything.We have three batteries between the two jackets we have so that whilst one is on the other is charging so we have a back up encase we have it on for hours and hours.
