So good so far. I was hesitant to drop $200 on a pair of panniers, but after committing to commuting to work and struggling with my single $40 pannier and a backpack, I took the plunge and got the Ortleibs. They can hold everything I need and still have room to spare.Setup is fairly simple, but I did have to do some trial and error to get it to the point I wanted. If you’re looking at getting a pair of panniers, I definitely suggest you save yourself the headaches, bite the bullet and just get these.

I bought these for cycling the camino de santiago in may 2019. I had looked at cheaper options with great reviews but knowing I was going to be doing long days with hard terrain, I wanted the peace of mind that all my clothes etc would be safe & dry. I needn't have worried. These are fantastic to use. the clip on & off the frame system works beautifully, so simple but very effective. even on rough terrain on fast descents, they stayed put. They come with clip in adaptors to match the frame size of your rack, so they will fit securely on a variety of different diameter frames, brilliant!. They are tough & 100% waterproof, the 1st day going over the pyrenees was in torrential rain, which lasted for 3 days, these never missed a beat & kept everything perfectly dry. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these to anyone, well worth the extra money!

Good quality pannier. Easy to take off. Side strap too narrow, not really convenient as a side bag when off the bike.

2nd pair of Ortlieb panniers. However I find these ones fit a little looser than an older set I have.

Ich habe die Packtaschen für eine mehrtägige eMTB-Radtour gekauft. Montiert habe ich sie an einem Gepäckträger aus dem Zubehörhandel. Kein Problem, da Ortlieb Distanzclips für verschiedene Durchmesser des Gepäckträgerrohrs mitliefert. Die Taschen haben sich nicht nur bei den bisherigen Touren (aktuell 6600 km) als ausgesprochen praktikabel erwiesen, sie sind mittlerweile zu fast täglichen Begleitern geworden. Homeoffice sei Dank, nutze ich mein Auto nur noch wenig. Einkäufe erledige ich nun meist mit dem Fahrrad. Wenn es sich nicht gerade um sperrige Gegenstände, leisten die Ortlieb-Taschen auch hier beste Dienste. Fazit: ein aus meiner Sicht hervorragendes Produkt.
