These spoons are nicely finished and colored. They are basically one pair each of regular spoons and larger soup spoons. Maybe a little smaller than I expected as I am used to using larger mixing spoons. I included my 13 inch mixing spoon for comparison in the photo. They are thicker than regular silverware but have a smooth finish so they are comfortable to use for eating. I really was thinking of using them for mixing on a smaller scale than my big spoon but I wouldn't try that in thick or hard to stir ingredients since the handle is nicely contoured and balanced but could break if abused beyond its intended use.
