Osmo 3262C Polyx Hard Wax Oil Rapid Clear Matt, 0,75 Liter

Used both this and the slower drying standard version. It dries faster as you would expect and can Be sanded back and do second coat in same day. There seems to be less smell as it dries. I found the standard version took a few days to lose most of the smell but a couple of weeks for it to go completely. Excellent finish, I sanded back with 600 paper the 000 wire wool.

Das Öl lässt sich schön verarbeiten ob mit Pinsel oder mit einer Rolle. Der Boden bleibt schön matt udn die Farbe des Holzes wird nicht verändert. Bisher hält es Flecken gut fern.

I used this product on my Victorian pine floorboards. They had previously been stained with another product but that wore off quite quickly. We sanded the floorboards using a hired sander and then finished the edges with a hand sander. Swept and vacuumed the floor free of dust and then applied the Osmo Hard Wax Matt. I used a roller for the main part of the floor and a brush for the edges. I found the product easy to apply and it dried quickly with no streaks. I waited 24 hours before applying a second coat (although it was dry within 4 hours). The finish is completely Matt with no shine or gloss at all which is exactly what I wanted. I found that the product brought out the natural grain of the wood without giving any shine which gave a lovely natural look. The colour of the floorboards did darken slightly but not enough to spoil the natural look. Be very careful when applying this product as a little goes a very long way. I recommend starting in a corner or somewhere not too noticeable and use a very very small amount on your brush or roller. Use less than you think you’ll need and you should be ok. I bought a 0.75ltr tin and it covered 18 square metres with two coats and enough left over to do my dining table. I definitely recommend this product if you want a lovely natural Matt finish.

Ich benutze schon seit vielen Jahren Osmo Hartwachsöl für verschiedenste Anwendungen im Massivholzbereich , Parkett, Küchenarbeitsplatten, Treppenstufen und Eichenbohlen unter Handwaschbecken die Feuchtigkeit und anderen Belastungen ausgesetzt sind. Wasserflecken oder Rotweinflecken können am nächsten Tag einfach abgewischt werden und gut ist. Bei der richtigen Anwendung ist Osmo Hartwachsöl ein sehr zu empfehlendes Produkt für strapazierte Holzoberfächen.

Ich habe das Öl zum streichen meiner neu verlegen Fichtedielen verwendet. Das Öl zieht sehr schnell ein, ist von der Konsistenz - meiner Meinung nach - perfekt und trocknet, nach ca. 4 Stunden, so dass man drüber laufen kann. Eine Dose hat bei mir für ca. 18 qm bei einmaligem Anstrich gereicht.
