Good on DJI for having some great accessories. I know a lot of people wanted these as options for a while. When I saw them come up I hopped on it to streamline my setup.DJI really needs some more in-depth descriptions for their stuff though... So you get two items; one is a battery door that replaces the stock door (I have an action 4 and it fits perfectly) and has a cold shoe on it. The other is the magnet-latch thing that will attach to the camera or plastic cage and also provides a cold shoe.Both cold shoes have a little spring part inside (see pic) that holds whatever you put in there pretty snug, which is an AWESOME touch as it finally gives me the option to mount the mic2 (whose clip fits into a shoe mount) and have it be fairly secure.The battery door is, in fact, waterproof above 20m according to the little pamphlet that comes with it (see pics), the whole black area is a large rubber gasket with a pronounced lip and then a little foam piece to hold the battery in. I don't know what you would be attaching to the cold shoe that would be able to go underwater with you, but the option is much appreciated and those little things make a huge difference to not have to worry, or swap out doors between activities. However, any cage you have will likely not fit on the action cam anymore with the cold-shoe door, of course.Both shoes face the same way with the opening towards the back screen of the camera. You cant mount them the other way so this means that if you do put the dji mic in there, it will be facing to the back which, depending on your content, isn't always ideal. Not a game changer, just something to note. Any other cold shoe accessories can of course be mounted however you like within the shoe itself.Anyway, sorry to drag on but I wanted to answer some questions people might have because the info on this page, and on their website, is seriously lacking lol... The only thing I would have really liked is if they could have somehow fit in a 1/4-20 thread onto the magnet adapter.
