Have to say I am a fan of Osprey bags and Backpacks in general and have used them for travelling for last 12 years with no issues, travelling globally. This Tallon22 I got for cycling and day to day walking with dog and hill trekking, it is great, right size for day hike, you can add a hydration bladder, and there are plenty of pockets and hidden pockets for storing all your bits, i particularly like the front pockets on the hip belt, so here are my bug bears, though not enough to drop the rating. The price is high, though the materials are good, there is no laptop or tablet sleeve, and the back ventilation is not going to stop you from having a sweaty back if your walking more than 3km : )

Clearly new old stock, but I still like it. I ordered the XL as I’m 6’2 and a full sized lad. Fits great, is comfortable and looks not too shabby either.My only grip is that I wish it came with a rain cover. Seems odd to not have one on a pack of this caliber

Ideal bag for a long day or weekend out. Plenty of storage and fit options adjusts easily and spreads weight well. Great bag
