I really like this design, its easy to fill/clean and offers a good volume of water for hydrating while active. Its real selling point for me is the magnetic strap attachment that keeps the outlet for the water firmly attached to your chest strap, no flapping about, just a great design that is executed very well indeed. You may find cheaper hydration packs but the quality of materials and the design really make this a great investment.

Works great overall, but it has some peculiar features. There's a sturdy red plastic piece in front that I can't figure out function. The water hose can be disconnected in two places, but the middle connection lacks flow control, causing water to flow uncontrollably if unplugged. Others have pointed out that for the price, there should be a dust cover for the mouthpiece. Additionally, the bladder and backpack are designed to work only together, meaning I can't use any other backpack with this hydration bladder due to the special lock system.

The open valve that release the water through the mouth piece is very tight and broke off after a short time, making it very difficult to close or open. In fact near impossible

Filled the bladder after removing from packaging and had a leak underneath one of the rigid plastic wings just next to where it is attached (I assume glued) to the bladder. It seems very unlikely that a puncture could have happened here since this piece of the bladder is literally covered by the plastic so I can only assume this is a manufacturing or qc issue stemming from this newer bladder design. My original osprey bladder that came with the pack lasted me years and I bought this one as the older one was starting to show its age. Unfortunately by the time the old bladder gave up the ghost and sprung a leak at its hose joint, the return window for this new bladder had expired. Not a happy customer considering the price one of these replacements go for.
