I like most crafts and recently starting stencil stamping on gift cards. These reuse-able tack mats hold everything in place to ensure your stencil does not move when stamping, especially when adding different colours. They can be used over many times, Not sure if I really needed it but it was helpful and the stenciling came out well. I already own a cricut machine and had previously used the cricut sticky mat for this with similar results.

These are two low-tack mats for use with stamps and stencils that arrive in a resealable plastic bag.The mats are 8.5” x 6.5” and are a game-changer. They are well-made and thought has gone into them as you have a placement grid that is so useful. You peel the plastic cover off (keep hold of it, as you’ll need to recover the sticky surface when you’re finished), line your card up using the grid and press it firmly down; your card will be held in place until you peel it away. I tried it with a stencil that was larger than my piece of card, and it allowed me to do layer after layer of ink blending without the card or the stencil moving. I used it in my stamp press and I was able to do edge-to-edge stamping with rubber stamps for the first time ever, and I was able to stamp more than once to catch the bits that were missed with my first impression. I used it with a newish polymer stamp, and the stamp did lift both the card and the low-tack mat, but because I had positioned it in a corner, I was able to just place it there again and successfully restamp.Clean up was simple, as I spritzed it with water and used a lint-free cloth to clean and dry it with no issues at all. This is a consumable item, so eventually it will need to be replaced, but I think I will get plenty of use out of it before we get there. At the time of writing this review, the cost is £7.99, and that’s good value for money. Happy to recommend.
