🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹As someone who has been making cards for over 20 years, I am always on the lookout for something new to try. One of the things I have struggled with over the years is alignment of my mats and layers and also toppers. I have purchased numerous gadgets and gizmos, from crafts fairs, shopping telly and online, with mixed results – some items being better than others.This particular product features a set of seven stamp positioner tools. They are made from acrylic and are in the following sizes :-3/16 inch (0.5 cms)¼ inch (0.6 cms)5/16 inch (0.8 cms)3/8 inch (0.95 cms)½ inch (1.2 cms)5/8 inch (1.6 cms)¾ inch (1.9 cms)Each one is 5/16 (0.8 cms) inch in depth, and 10.8 cms long.🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹I have tried these out on my cardmaking, and I have been very pleased with the results. They have made matting and layering so much easier, and I have had no more wonky toppers since using them ! They are also ideal for placing a sentiment.I still have lots of the “old fashioned” wood mounted rubber stamps, so these can also be used as stamp positioner. To use it in this way, you will also need a clear square of acetate. Then all you need to do is :-🔹Place your acetate into the corner of the “L” shape.🔹Stamp your image onto the acetate.🔹Put the acetate with the stamped image where you would like it on your card.🔹Bring the “L” shape up to the piece of acetate.🔹Carefully remove the acetate, leaving the “L” shape in place.🔹Ink your stamp and place it against the “L” shape.Your stamped image should now be exactly where you want !These will definitely be really useful and the fact that they are lightweight and slim means that you can take them with you on any crafty workshops or when crafting away from home. The range of sizes is perfect, plus the current price of £8.99 is extremely affordable, making them just £1.28 each.Some of the corners have a film over the acetate, which needs to be removed before using. There was also a rough piece of acrylic on the end of one of mine, which needed to be smoothed off as it was quite sharp.In conclusion, I can highly recommend these positioning corners. Handy measuring tools for layer placement gaps with scrapbooking, mini albums and cards.They only go down to 3/8 though, and 1/4 and 1/8 would have been more useful to me.I am confused why they marked the long edges in centimetres though, when they're cut in inches and marked in inches at the corners.
