My new violin arrived with ebony pegs which were slipping like I do on an ice rink and my violin was perpetually out of tune. When these pegs arrived and after also applying peg dope to the brown pegs, my violin stays in tune and the pegs stay put, with absalutely no slippage.I highly recommend these pegs, they are good quality, a reasonable price and the wood they are made from helps the peg to sit in the peg box without moving and without the peg dope/compound. I highly recommend these pegs, they are well made and a good purchase.
