my brand new iPhone, otter box case, and pop socket were stolen out of my zipped up crossbody purse in the produce department of my store. I replaced all and hunted forever for a lanyard that would work on my new case/phone. The ones that stick to the phones didn't work. None seemed ideal but I purchased this one. The case has a single point for attaching a lanyard so I just loop the smaller portion of the strap around my purse strap and hook it to my case then put it inside my purse. When we go where there are crowds without a purse (Disneyland etc) I double hook the full lanyard crossbody and put the phone in an inside jacket or shirt pocket on my body (never pants pocket). Lesson learned. This works great and I feel more protected.

Was ich besonders clever finde: Man kann das Band nicht nur als Umhängeversion nutzen, sondern auch fix als Handschlaufe umfunktionieren. Die zusätzlichen Schlaufen sind auch echt praktisch - perfekt für Schlüssel oder was man sonst noch so anclipsen will.Das Material macht einen super stabilen Eindruck, und der Verschluss ist absolut zuverlässig - da wackelt und klappert nichts. Besonders für Urlaubsreisen oder Aktivitäten, wo man keine Taschen dabei haben möchte, ist das Teil Gold wert.Klar, der Preis ist nicht ohne, aber dafür bekommt man auch echte Qualität, die sich im Alltag bewährt. Für alle, die ihr Smartphone sicher und stylish bei sich tragen wollen, ist dieser Strap eine tolle Investition!

I have ordered this strap ahead of a trip where phone security may be an issue. The strap is easy to fit to the Otterbox phone case. I believe that it can be fitted to other cases too and equally, to other accessories like cameras. The strap is well made. I cannot find any information on the tested strength of the strap, but my guess is it will be limited to the tensile strength of the keyring clips on the ends. It certainly feels robust and I am confident that it would withstand anyone trying to grasp the phone out of my hand and run with it. A clever design with the ability to serve as a cross-body strap or a wrist strap, which quickly converts between the two.
