The item isn't for iphone 16, but for a iphone 16 pro. They replaced the sticker on the box with iphone 16, but the camera cut out part is for the pto model and doesn't fit the iphone 16.

This is IMO the best case they make. It’s very rugged but not too big. It’s millimeters bigger than the commuter series which is a fan favorite but I tried both. The commuter series has a big of a bigger “lip” if you will around the screen, which is good for drops. But for using the screen it gets in the way. This case actually sits more flush with the screen and also has a bigger lip around the camera lenses which seems more beneficial, again IMO.

I was seduced by a beautiful piece of video in an email from Apple. It promoted the new 16e and the 16 Pro Max iPhones in such a way that it became affordable. (Probably not true, but...)I pulled the trigger and Apple had it in my hands the next day... a Sunday!The iPhone phone is gorgeous; sex re-imagined as a phone. It's smooth, with erotic curves... and that is the problem. It's so smooth and delicate looking that it's almost impossible to hold in your hand. All cell phones are like that.As manufacturers moved away from the military look of a brick phone a new industry sprang up with protective boxes that wrap your phone in various materials to keep them safe if dropped. Some of these are nothing more than a light plastic wrap that do little to save the case if dropped.For my money, Otterbox makes the best and, although a little pricey, I believe you get the most for your money with it. The Otterbox design for the iPhone 16 is ideal. It surrounds the iPhone with a thick rubber rim that is a bit tighter than previous models I've used. It also leaves the rear of the iPhone behind a heavy duty clear plastic window allowing full view of the phone's color. A raised rim of rubber surrounds the lens array for extra protection.The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a new button on the lower right side for instant access to the camera and some of its functions. Otterbox has a protected cutaway access to the new button. Nicely done!Installing the new iPhone in the Otterbox was tough for my 84-year-old fingers. My old otter case lasted three yearsI’ve had this one two months and broken in two placesFirst the camera protector cracked then from screen cracked for no reason not happy !!
