Bewertung für graphitgraue Schreibtischverlängerung: Die Befestigung des "Metallscharniers" am Brett ist recht einfach und die Verlängerung ist dann ebenso einfach am Schreibtisch anzubringen. Ich hatte befürchtet, dass das Ganze dann evtl. etwas instabil ist, aber es hält erstaunlich gut und ich ertappe mich manchmal dabei, etwas zu viel Gewicht auf die Platte zu legen. Für den normalen Computerarbeitsplatz-Gebrauch, d.h. hantieren mit Tastatur und Maus, ist die Verlängerung optimal geeignet, ich bin damit vollauf zufrieden. Für den fünften Stern fehlt eine etwas stabilere Verarbeitung was die Befestigungsmutter angeht, diese könnte etwas hochwertiger sein. Und das Brett selbst ist wegen der dunklen Farbe ein Fingerabdruckmagnet, aber das ist ja bei den meisten dunklen Oberflächen so. Insgesamt kann ich das Produkt vollauf empfehlen und würde es auch jederzeit wieder kaufen. Hintergrundgeschichte: Weil ich zwei große Monitore nutze (einen für die Arbeit und einen für meinen privaten PC) und einen Drucker möglichst unsichtbar unter dem Schreibtisch unterbringen wollte, brauchte ich einen speziellen Schreibtisch in einer ganz speziellen Größe und mit passenden Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten. Da es einen solchen nicht zu kaufen gab, habe ich mir selbst einen gebaut. Nach zwei Jahren im Gebrauch hat sich herausgestellt, dass der Tisch für die optimale Nutzbarkeit 15-20 cm tiefer hätte sein müssen. Jetzt noch mal neu bauen? Uff, Holz ist irre teurer geworden und dann der Aufwand. Einfach vorne eine Platte dranschrauben? Möglich, aber das Holz sollte dann in der Maserung und der Dicke etc. genau passen und die Seitenteile müssen dann wieder an den unebenen Boden angepasst werden, etc...Nach wochenlangem Hin- und Herüberlegen...baue ich neu, baue ich an, suche ich noch mal und kaufe einen komplett neuen Tisch, habe ich dann einfach mal nach "Schreibtischverlängerung" gegoogelt. Et voilà, da war sie, die Lösung. Manchmal sind die einfachsten Lösungen die besten (und preiswertesten).

I have been constructing a custom desk, so I purchased the desk extender because it was the only one I could find that was actually long enough for my keyboard setup. I purchased the longest extender they had. I extended my desk with this clamp on tray, so I wouldnt be too close to the screen.In the box was a small instruction sheet, (when I say small it is small and the text tiny). but it was pretty self explanatory installation. Four self tap screws to assemble the shelf. It requires a long and decent screwdriver to really drive home those screws. The desk attachment (check your clearance), is kept in place by large rubber blocks under the desk mounts (screw up type). Attached very firmly.This particular extender can be lowered or raised by two catches underneath. Once mounted it seems very sturdy. I had room for my keyboard, mouse and pad and my gaming pad on the right. It feels very sturdy when typing and firm. *I wouldnt recommend leaning or storing anything heavy on this item however.I couldnt fault the design, the hinge attachment when assembling felt slightly loose, but when raised its rock solid. When connected to the desk there is little to no movement so no vibration when typing or using the mouse. With a carbon black style finish, I would highly recommend it.Only things I could note down to be aware of:Make sure you lower the extender as i ran into it once or twice raised, secondly its clamped to your desk, so take care if you need to remove it to avoid damage. There were an extra set of screws included in the box as well, I dont know why, could not find any use for them, I guess spares?If like you me you have a post in the middle of your desk and cannot mount a slide in extender shelf, this item fits perfectly. I was very happy with the item.

It's a lot less sturdy than I thought it would be, and by that I don't mean that it's flimsy and will fall apart, I mean that the brackets themselves have some back and forth play in them, so it will not be dead still after it's installed, it can jiggle and wobble, however it does do the job and can hold weight pretty well - I can comfortably rest my arms on it while typing and using a mouse (I'm 215lbs), and I rest them on the EDGE, no less, which of course applies even more torque, so the fact that it holds is impressive, but I wouldn't apply much more weight than that.Assembly is slightly a pain - you have to line up small holes and then get the screws in there between all the metal which kind of gets in the way of you screwing it in, but that's all there is to it. There are 4 marked holes and 2 unmarked holes, but they included 9 screws for some reason. I did use all 6 available holes (including unmarked ones) which was tricky but will help keep it more stable.Installation is a piece of cake - just clamps you have to screw in and that's it. I did notice it was sloping a bit too much INTO the desk, so I had to loosen the clamps, push it to slope more towards the outside, and then clamp it down again. It didn't change the slope too much, but enough so it wouldn't be bothersome to me.Last thing I will say is while I appreciate that it can fold out of the way, the extension kind of stays in the way so you can't put your fee under the desk when it's folded down, so the only use I can see for it is if your desk is near a path you need to use and the extension kind of blocks it. I feel like what they could have done instead which would have been more useful to most people is allow us to change the slope to different levels rather than just having 2 settings of up and folded.Overall, this product made it much more comfortable for me to work at my shallow desk - could it have been better? Yes, but it does the job very well and I'm much happier with it than without it.

75X24cm. Color carbón.Me ha ayudado mucho para ampliar mi espacio de trabajo. El Portatil no me cabe entero pero está muy seguro y firme. Recomiendo esta bandeja extensora por la calidad del tablero de madera y firme sujección a la mesa que lo soporta.
