Great value

The size should be provided in the description. I wanted to find a watertight box for a first aid kit for my boat, and almost passed on this item because of the lack of dimensions. Then I read one of the reviews where the author had used it for their first aid kit and found it large enough. SO I took a chance and ordered it. I'm glad that I did.The outside dimensions are about 7 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and 4 inches high. I say "about" because the box is slightly tapered from top to bottom. It's actually a bit larger in width and depth because of the latches, hinge, and attachment points for a lanyard. I measured at about the center point of the dimensions, and the interior is a bit smaller to allow for the thickness of the plastic.This is well constructed box of heavy grade clear plastic with a steel pin for the hinge and solid latches with a waterproof sealing gasket. There is a rubber lanyard on one end and an attachment point on the opposite end for a second lanyard. Warning labels on the box state the item cannot be used in a microwave, and it should not be submerged. Given that there is a sealing gasket, I'm guess the warning about being submerged means not to use it scuba diving - I doesn't look like it will withstand too much sea pressure.I packed all the items I want to carry for a well-stocked first aid kit and there was plenty of room. Having a clear plastic box means I was able to arrange my items so the labels could be seen from the outside of the box on each side and less chance of forgetting what I have inside.

Nice sturdy material little bit bigger than I expected it to be but it works out perfectly it is absolutely perfect for my medicine that I carry with me while I am out on the kayak so that I can stop and take medicine breaks as well as holding my phone and not having to worry about it being ruined if I flip the boat definitely recommend ordering this if you need a good size storage container for out on the water

I have been searching for watertight boxes for various parts of my camping gear, and I picked up 2 of these boxes for some smaller items in my gear. When I received these boxes, they were sized exactly as I expected. For the first box, I had a 201-piece first aid kit that was in a very flimsy factory "case", so I started to transfer everything from that kit into this new box. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all of the first aid supplies and paperwork fit into this box, with room for another 1/2 kit! I had a second first aid kit that had some pieces missing, so I added those items to this box and had over 300 pieces of first aid in this one box. The lid closed perfectly and I'm very satisfied with the construction and strength of the hinges, lid and clasps.For the second box, I put all of my small LED flashlights, survival fire starting equipment, extra batteries for the flashlights, and a bunch of other small items I wanted to keep out of the elements. Everything perfect, and there was still room for the snake bite kit.I'm very happy with the capacity and construction of these mid-size boxes. A great addition to any outdoorsperson's gear collection.
