I catch the sun quite easily and needed to replace my existing hat which has just done its' time. I wanted a breathable hat as I kept finding with my old one that I was taking it off ever 5 minutes as my head was hot. Got this yesterday and tried it out today; 6 miles of walking in the sun. It was very comfortable that I almost forgot I'd put it on and the 'venting' at the top kept my head cool, which is exactly what I wanted. My head size is 60.5cm and this fitted well, not tight but when I thought ' is this fitting alright', I could feel it, but when walking and talking to mates, didn't feel a thing and it didn't budge an inch even when the wind blew and I didn't use the chin string. Very good item.

I am not a hat person. I bought this to wear to baseball and soccer games. I have worn it gardening. Still not a hat person but will try to wear when walking next summer. Nice brim, covers the face well.

Bit big for my 6 7/8 in head. Had no rain to test water resistance.

Lovely fit and don't know you have it on.
