We had the last one for over a year and a half, maybe even 2 years, and after HEAVY use a small piece of plastic broke during a rough/quick adjustment - considering how often he uses it, and the fact that it is near the stove, constantly pushed around the counter, and with hands covered in oil or food, it’s pretty awesome that it lasted as long as it did! Rather than just supergluing it, I ordered a second one since it’s very reasonably priced and I didn’t want him to have to worry about it. I was really happy to see that they replaced the bottom of the stand with hard plastic, as it was a kinda foam material before that couldn’t be easily wiped. So this seller is clearly updating and improving their item over time! It’s the perfect size, light and color options are great, and easy to control. Highly recommend!

I have a new sales productivity tracker launching on Amazon next month and needed to create how-to-use-it video content for it with the camera looking down on my hands as I complete various parts of the book-based tracker system. This overhead phone mount and lighting rig worked PERFECTLY. It's a very solid build and the arms lock in quite well. It has a USB power supply so you do need the means to go from USB to a wall source if you don't have a USB power source close by. The light "temperature" is adjustable and the lighting angles are useful. The dual phone holders allow you to literally video yourself working on another phone device which comes in handy for app reviews or app how-tos. Well worth the money for any content producer who wants to capture their hands doing the work.
