I'm a keen DIY-er so I've learned the hard way about buying gear."Buy cheap, buy twice" is a rule that often applies when buying tools and it definitely applies to hacksaw blades. Ox do some great tools. I use their speedskim plastering gear and now use their hacksaw blades because they are good quality:Good points1. They cut well - nice and smooth;2. They last a long time;3. They don't snap easily;Bad points:1. More expensive than other blades, but you get what you pay for;2. Could do with a "Front" arrow on the 32 teeth per inch blade so I can fit them the right way around in a hurry (OK I'm being a bit picky). I've attached a photo showing the right way to fit the blades, so the teeth cut on the push stroke.Just 3 more points:1. Buy more than one blade at a time so you're not stuck if your blade gets worn or snaps during a job;2. Put a blob of CT90 cutting oil on the place you're about to cut. It makes for a smoother cut, takes the heat out of the cut and helps keep the teeth from clogging with bits of metal.3. Find a nice 300mm long tube to keep all your blades stored together, or hang them all on a nail in your workshop wall. Nothing worse than scrabbling around trying to find them if they're scattered around in all sorts of places!

Use my saw usually about ten times a day, I’m still on my first blade! Well impressed with the longevity of these blades
