After trying lots of different indoor and outdoor covers, the Oxford Protex Stretch indoor dust cover is one of the best I found. A medium was a fantastic fit for a 6th generation Yamaha R1 with double bubble screen. The cover is a pleasingly tight fit and stretches fairly tightly to the body panels of the bike whilst the mirrors, indicators and number plate push purposefully against the inside of the black material without being at risk of damage. The fabric is plush and the inner side is soft, so the bikes' paintwork should stay looking its best.The cover pulls down to only show 1 inch or so of the alloy wheels (high enough off the ground to keep floor dirt away from the cover) and it incorporates a reassuringly tight elasticated hem that hugs the tyres nicely and helps the cover stay in place. It's also fitted with a central adjustable buckle that does up beneath the belly of the bike, but it seems unnecessary as the dust cover is for use indoors and wind shouldn't be an issue. It makes fitting the cover without scratching the paintwork that little bit harder,but it's easy to cut the strap off if preferred.Overall the cover feels good, looks great and fits the R1 well, and I'm happy to have it protecting my motorcycle.
