The keyboard is great fit and works perfectly.Looks and feels like the original.Highly recommend this replacement keyboard.Keep in mind the replacement is quite a challenge.

OK, it's a fiddly job to install (using YouTube videos for guidance) but it was worth it for me. Before this replacement keyboard, the power button was continually sending a signal to the laptop making it unusable. Following the keyboard swap, everything worked fine, including the backlight to the keys. Beware that the keyboard screws are barely bigger than dust and the cable connectors can be tricky. Given that a new MacBook is about £1000 rejuvenating your old one for £25 has great appeal! Bad news first though...if you have never worked with intricate things in general and computers specifically doing the work yourself will be challenging. However this product fits perfectly and as I am typing with it now I can tell you it feels good to use. It's a slightly different in feel compared with the original but it's not better or worse. Looks are again slightly different but I mean slightly. The keys are more matt and the upper faces are flatter but no one would take them for a 3rd pay replacement.There are at least two very good YouTube videos taking you step by step through the keyboard replacement process. I recommend you watch one of those first to see if you want to take the job on before buying the keyboard. If you are up for it then go for it but note that the keyboard only comes with a screwdriver for the actual keyboard fitting screws. You will need two other Torx drivers to open up the Mac and get to the keyboard. Details in the YouTube videos.
