These rechargeable batteries are probably the best ones available. I bought this originally since I needed some for a camera however I now use them in my mouse. It only takes two of the four meaning I can rotate which ones are on charge and I am never left with having to use a wired mouse. They easily last 8 months on one charge, maybe even more, which I find very convenient. I have no doubt that they will continue to hold a charge that long even after 5 or 10 years.These also work great in an Xbox controller, which will eat through disposables if you let it. It massively saves on cost for high power devices since you only need to buy these once. Saves on trips to battery recycling places as well to dispose of them properly.The fact that this pack comes with a high quality AA recharger means the bundle provides very good value for money. I can leave them in the charger (unplugged) for short term storage if I need. The charger when plugged in will simply charge the batteries for a set time, then will power off. So even if the batteries only need 1 hour of charge, it will stay on for the full duration (I believe about 12 hours from memory although it could more or less).Obviously it has built in overcharge protection, as do most devices nowadays, so this is not a worry. I imagine this was a cost saving measure, but it does mean the charging light will stay on overnight, and can be quite bright in a dark room.One downside is that the charger is Micro USB, not USB-C, however I share the same cable with another battery charger so it does not inconvenience me much. The batteries are also ever so slightly thicker than normal AA batteries, since they are very high capacity, so in some devices that are poorly made, or have very tight fitting slots, these batteries may not fit. But 99% of devices they will be compatible with.I paid about £17 for these which I think is very good value, anything under £20 is a steal considering how long the batteries will be useable for in the future.
