I've been making jewellery for 7 years, and I bought this chain to add extension chains to my necklaces.I've just received my reel, and must say I'm very impressed with the quality.I've given it a very thorough stress test and the chain holds up perfectly. I can confirm that the links are individually soldered (always a plus with jewellery!) The chain is clean and not twisted, with the links perfectly formed.I chose this the largest size, to ensure that it would be a good fit with all my various sized lobster clasps (parrot claw), and it is a perfect fit even for my 15mm large clasps.All in all, an excellent purchase, and extremely good value for money.The chain is 304 stainless which means that it only contains around 8% Nickel, and is considered hypoallergenic.
