This travel journal is beautifully designed and feels nice in the hand. The layout inside is practical, with sections for planning and reflection. It’s more of a luxury item, so perhaps not something you’d scribble in on the go, but lovely for documenting special trips or memories. Beautifully made and would also make a lovely gift. Highly recommended.

This is not a cheaply made A5 notepad, it is customised for the purpose of being a travel journal that you will find easy to use and given the look and feel, it is a pleasure to use and then have as a keepsake to look back on your travels. This is a lovely idea for a gift for anyone that you know who may be going on a journey or someone who travels extensively. The book is split into six separate journals each with its own Sections such as trip ideas summary for the journey, wish list, transport details, accommodation details, budget spreadsheet, packing details, itinerary list, and then pages to record memories from the journey itself. At the rear of the book, there are some nice little packing guides and Travel games which is a nice touch. The only downside I found was the weight of the journal if you were to carry this around with you while travelling it could become a bit of a burden (1.2kg)For those who like to write things down using pen and paper, this is an ideal way to do it. I would possibly like the ability to separate the six journals so that they were able to be removed from the main book as that would reduce the size and weight office for travelling. There is no wallet or folder within the book for ticket stubs receipts or passports Which is a bit of a shame if this is mental you’re travelling companion. In conclusion, a high-class journal - a perfect gift for the Traveler in your life.

My girlfriend is hyper organised and loves to travel, this was a gift made for her and she was pleased with it. There are lots of useful pages within including wishlists and blank spaces for making your own memories in words or drawings.Great present, thoughtful was the feedback - happy to recommend.

I am already familiar with the Papier brand as I ordered one of their travel journals a year ago, when I was newly enrolled on the Amazon Vine programme. This is what I thought of it then:This travel journal screams top quality and nostalgia. It's beautifully designed with a sturdy, hardback cover and thick, premium paper with a silky finish. It's just the right size for writing in, without taking up too much room in your luggage - though its weight means that it's probably not for someone like me who likes to travel light.I like the categories and prompts, particularly the New Friends and Conversations headings as these are such important aspects of the whole travelling experience. For me, I can do without recording the budget on a daily basis (particularly how much I've overspent!) but others will probably find this useful.Tempting though it is to keep this lovely journal, I was really attracted to it as a gift for one of my well-travelled friends and family members.I have deducted one star from my review because of the cost. I probably don't appreciate how expensive top quality paper is these days but £29 seems a lot for a small hardback notebook. This time around, I'm not so enthusiastic, as it definitely isn't worth £30. Last year's journal had a well-designed, unusual cover, but this year's is completely plain, and in a boring shade of navy blue. At a glance, it looks like just a regular A5 diary. I'm also not tempted to keep this one, or give it to my travel-loving friends and family, as there's too much emphasis on detailed planning, which none of us goes for. Papier will need to return to creative covers, and considerably lower their prices, before I would consider buying any of their products.
