Mutilating and banging on one of the most expensive parts if a bike is worrying to say the least. I will say the park tool adapter made this simple and care free.Park tool as a company is unique as you can look up videos and watch trained mechanics used the tool before you commit.That being said, it lived up to expectations, used it on a tapered fork, and was very happy with the results.

Heavy duty and has worked perfectly every time I've used it. Star nuts have been aligned perfectly and set at the correct depth each time. Nothing to complain about here, a quality product.
