It is a tool that does the job that it was designed for.

It is impossible without the correct crow foot to measure torque when attaching pedals. This crow foot mates to the torque wrench at a 90 degree angle and allows you to torque to whatever the manufacturer specifies. Shimano says the typical torque range is 35 to 55 N m (yes Americans, time to learn the metric system since only us, Liberia, and Myanmar still use it) but that is usually too high because the threads self-tighten upon pedaling. I apply grease to my pedal threads and torque them to about 30 N m. Never had a problem in my life. This crow foot also allows you to do so without marring your crank arms or the pedals themselves. Works great for me, five stars.

Used it with 1/2” breaker bar which was 1 m length. Really stuck pedals (aluminium corroded to steel) with no space to use any other substantial tool. Worked like a charm. No broken knuckles or any dangerous movements to worry.

Si possono smontare in pedali con diversi attrezzi, ma quando si rimontano, sarebbe necessario chiuderli con la coppia di serraglio corretta. In particolare per chi, come me, ha i rilevatori di potenza sui pedali ( es Garmin Vector). Con una chiave dinamometrica questo tool è perfetto.
