Patco 555 Archival Book Repair Tape: 1-1/2 in. x 60 ft. (Doorzichtig)

I used this tape for three books thus far. One very old hardcover, one large paperback, and a trade (graphic novel). Each one had the pages drop completely from the cover. Two were in one large lump of pages, the third had some flyaway pages. I used this tape to keep all the pages together and then used some book repair glue to attach the tape to the book cover. After making sure they were properly aligned, I left a larger book sitting on top of them while the glue dried.Once they were finished, they were like new. They feel very sturdy but I can still turn the pages easily enough. I also used this tape to attach a couple of loose end pages on one book. Not only did it work, but it looked much nicer than using scotch or shipping tape. This tape is perfectly clear and very solid.I will probably buy a couple of the other sizes of this same tape for when some of my larger books inevitably start falling apart on me. Its great to be able to fix them so nicely by myself.

This tape arrived earlier than expected. It’s of great quality and economical, the quality is very comparable to the more expensive tapes they use in libraries. I’m pleased with this purchase. Sending a big “Thanks!” to the seller!!

Das Klebeband hat eine sehr gute Haftkraft und man fühlt sofort, wie qualitativ Hochwertig das Band im Vergleich zu normalem Tesafilm ist (deutlich stärkeres Material). Vor allem aber bilden sich keine bräunlichen Verfärbungen im Laufe der Zeit, wie das bei normalem Tesafilm auf Papier der Fall ist. Eine kleine Ausgabe die sich aber auszahlt. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden damit.

The tape is wide and does a great job of sticking so be sure to place correctly on the first go! Very hard to break or tear so you will need some scissors to cut it.
