My tom cat loves the hangers so that I had to give them to him to play with without the fishing rod. The feathered one has only one feather left and still is my cat's favourite (yes, even the bell is off), the dragon fly lost its wings but is the favourite toy to play catch with (yes, he voluntarily brings it to me to be thrown away and he brings it back repeatedly till bored with me, then he keeps chewing the toy). The fish one is left for the fishing rod but is not that popular as it is rather robust, still, he loves licking the feathers and chasing it around and licking the feathers once caught.The two things I would change - the metallic threads in the eyes of the dragon fly are easily pulled out leaves mess behind and are risk of being eaten- make it optional to by a new set of the toys/hangers to replace those worn out by the play

What can I say about this product. It has been a brilliant for us and our two kittens. They are full of energy and some evenings we are shattered and just can’t muster the energy to be running around after them. So we use the fishing rod with various attachments for vigorous play. My boy kitty adores the feathers and my little girl kit loves the insects with the bells on. It’s been such a fantastic toy, we ordered more attachments as the feathers eventually brake off even though we do glue back into the sturdy holder, but our two kittens play hard and the shaft of the feather eventually snaps. Even though the little girl cat managed to chew through the string, it’s very tough. The rod is very flexible which makes it perfect for when one of the kittens pulls on it. The reel is handy to allow more freedom to breadth of play. I would suggest of you have carpet to place a rung down as jumping and tearing around could damage floor coverings (our carpets new and a large rugs protected it). This toys used to help daily exercise, added to their other games and now they don’t settle unless we have a the fishing rod out before bedtime. Their favourite game in when we one flick the line rod so the attachment on the end goes underneath a table or other furniture which makes it even more enjoyable for kitties to stalk. Also, my boy kitty loves to jump high, and once he catches the feathered toy he just licks it. Don’t really have any negatives for this, but occasionally the middle extender pole comes unscrewed and collapses down. I think it’s just shear use during their vigorous play. It makes no difference to the play enjoyment only it can often lead to a longer length of string so the cats then managed to wind around and run off, usually with me running behind them! Excellent for exercise, especially for indoor cats, but equally for play for outdoor cats and just general eye to paw coordination. We’ve had an our rod quite a few months now and considering it’s played with every single day, sometime multiple times, I think for the price it is excellent value for money. When this one has eventually worn out we will be purchasing another.

My cat loves it! Easy to use and works great! I like all the attachments that come with it too!
