This worked well on a Flymo Vision 350, the old switch had gone open circuit. Note that the original wiring to the switch is via 'push in' terminals, when dismantling I chose to prise the old switch apart to keep the wires in as good condition as possible. Once the old switch is apart, the wiring and capacitor can be carefully pulled out of the sprung terminals. This replacement switch has a screw teminal block on one side, which is useful, the other wires are simply pushed into the sprung terminals in exactly the same configuration they came out. (Take a photo before didmantling!). No problems with re-fitting, exactly the same size, worked first time.

Easy to fit (but I’m quite handy when it comes to repairs). Works fine. Appears to be the same quality as the original and up to now it’s working great. I’ve use the mower five times since the new switch was fitted and all seems good…. I also replaced the power cable during the replacement of the switch as that was looking a bit tired and had been repaired in two locations down the cable. I highly recommend this switch. If you are not happy doing this kind of replacement work, please get someone else to do it, who is confident and happy to do it.
