Pelikan 812641 Balpen Jazz Pastel, Lavendel, 1 stuk in vouwdoos

This is the best ballpoint pen I've ever used. Normally I don't like ballpoints because you have to press down and they always get gunky around the tip - you have to regularly wipe it or it smears. This is different. It writes smoothly and without having to press. The plastic does not feel cheap, and the pen has a good weighty feel. I've now purchased two.

Honestly, I bought this to hit the $ amt for free shipping.I'm old and have way more pens than I'll ever need. Anyway, I've always wanted to try a Pelikan but the pens I saw were all crazy expensive. And you know it all comes down to the refill, regardless of what the pen costs or looks like. This Pelikan writes very well and was very affordable. So far it hasn't skipped. And there isn't any wiggle between the barrel and the refill tip, at least none that I could sense. Feels good in my hand too. Needed an inexpensive good pen to carry around with me that had a twist mechanism and not a click mech.

Very stylish yet minimalistic and sober look. Fine grip and very smooth. But the pen is a bit thickish and tend to slide by the paper which can be inconvenient at times. However, looking at price tag this could be an excellent choice for regular Office use.
