Good keyboard, better for posture, doesn't drain your batteries too quick either the first sets lasted months so far

The overall quality of this keyboard is good. The wireless functionality is easy to set up and works very well with the included usb dongle, which has a nice storage hole on the underside, next to one of the battery compartments, for when it is not in use.The design of the magnetic movable feet is excellent and something more keyboards should do, giving great easily changeable variation in keyboard angle options while feeling sturdy and stable. The plastics feel like they'll be durable, and the keyboard body feels well constructed, not as solid as a metal body, but with no noticable flex. The keyboard action is fine for a membrane tile type, not as nice as a short-travel mechanical keyboard like my Logitech G815, or as refined as the older Apple tile keyboard I have, but it's also a fraction of the price of either. The only things I don't like about the keyboard are:- the layout has seen them compromise on some of the key sizes and positions, which results in me finding it difficult to find the shift key at times for instance - hopefully this will improve with familiarity- the keycaps don't have any concavity which again makes it easy to lose track of where your "home" is, and more difficult to find some of the pinky keys especially around the arrow keys

Typing on a split keyboard takes a bit of getting used to. The more experienced you are at typing on a regular keyboard, the stranger it will feel to switch to a split one. But adaptation doesn't take long. I type thousands of words per day and I type at a fast pace, so I did wonder if the two halves of this Perixx split keyboard would accurately transmit the letters I typed in the order I typed them. I also wondered if placement of the two halves might affect this. It doesn't. No matter how quickly I type or where the two halves of the keyboard are placed in relation to my monitor, the letters I type appear on screen in the order I type them, just as they would if I were typing on one solid single keyboard. The main advantage of the split keyboard is its ergonomics. It's ideal for anyone who types a lot and suffers from wrist pain such as repetitive strain injury as a result. The tilt angle of the keyboard can be adjusted to suit the user's preference, and obviously the two halves can be placed in the position of your choice. One thing I wouldn't recommend (and the product video shows this happening) is having a mug of coffee (or any other liquid) directly between the two halves of the keyboard. Take it from me - I've learned through expensive experience that liquids should be kept well away from PC keyboards and laptops. In summary, Perixx's PERIBOARD-624B is an excellent split keyboard. It doesn't have the flashy aesthetics of many other keyboards, but it's not about that. Rather, it's about providing a pain-free, ergonomic typing experience.

Ergonomically good as can place each half apart and type comfortably and can fit a notepad in between the separate keyboards. But periodically, maybe when processing is high on the computer the left keyboard sometimes has a delay making characters pressed on the left keyboard appear after characters pressed later on the right keyboard. So "hello" could become "hlloe"...which is irritating. The wired version does not have this delay problem and works okay.

Great keyboard for the flexibility of setup and price.Magnetic feet are helpful and allowed me to test and adjust it to the correct angle.Plastic feels good, overall makes for a light keyboard (or 2 halves) but still feels solidNice to have the dongle and a place to store it (*)Batteries last a long time ... approx 4 months so far on the first set - daily usage for wfh coding (**)Keys - feel / sound / travel etc is fine for me.A couple of improvements that would make it a wonderful keyboard:* Add the ability to connect to multiple machines and easily switch between them without reseating the dongle each time. Either Bluetooth or a combination (ie, dongle for 1 machine, BT for the other)** Replace the batteries with USB-C rechargability.
