Some people don't realize it, but a fair few PCs still have PS/2 ports, and if you put your mouse/keyboard in those, then you have more free USB ports.But the real reason I got this was to keep older hardware alive. I don't use my older PCs often, but when I do, I was still pulling out an old ball mouse from the early 2000s, and it was hard to use and imprecise.This mouse is way better than that old one, and perfectly adequate on modern PCs with a PS/2 port.It's obviously not a fancy gaming mouse, or anything, but it's perfectly fine for getting the job done.I also appreciate that there are no RGB lights flashing, as I find those irritating.The cable is a good length, the precision is fine, and the price is great. I'm very pleased with it :-D

Possedevo già un mouse PS/2 ma come letto in un altra recensione, anche il mio aveva lo stesso problema. Allora mi sono deciso a cambiarlo e mi sono subito trovato benissimo con questo. Silenziosissimo e preciso. Non perde 1 click.5 stelle. Si adatta alla perfezione con un PC con Win98 installato.

I was looking to replace the wireless mouse on my desktop computer because I was tired of changing batteries. Unlike my laptop, I don't take this particular computer anywhere, so there's no reason to not have a wired mouse. My bad: I did not pay attention to the fact that this mouse has an "old" style connector, which is perfect if you have a computer with this kind of port. Which I do not. No worries, an active PS/2 to USB adapter was very inexpensive, and now it works fine.
