I know almost all cats hate going in carriers, but my cat REALLY hates it. With my old hard-sided carrier, it took me over 2 hours to get her into it by myself.The vets have had a good chuckle at me because it looks so much like a baby bassinet, and it's maybe a little heavier than your average hard carrier, but it's so worth it. The open top makes it SO easy to drop your cat in and quickly close the retractable top. I think she also appreciates the extra height the curved design gives, because it feels less like I'm "trapping" her inside when I close it vs. putting the top back onto a normal hard carrier.The mesh is super sturdy - she got REALLY feisty at our last visit to the vet and was lunging against it and catching her extremely long claws in it and it didn't budge. Even after all the trauma associated with going in it to the vet, she still sniffs around it and jumps inside once in a while when it's sitting out. She used to be really traumatized by the sound of the metal grate closing on her hard sided carrier, and since this doesn't have that it's less stressful for her.The base is super sturdy so it kind of combines the best of both hard and soft carriers, giving her the sturdyness/secure feeling of a hard carrier but with the comfort of a soft carrier!One thing I would love is a lining to make it so she can't see out, because my cat gets super overstimulated and I have to cover it with a towel, but for dogs or animals that like to look around it would be great.

This is a great wee carrier. Very sturdy and easy to carry. I bought it as my cat is quite big and he really likes the height of this one. I'm slowly training him with it and so far he likes it and will chill in it. Will last more than one pet unless another pet is a massive scratcher. Don't get this if your cat loves to scratch, it will rip.

Very pleased with this carrier! Easy to install and comfortable to carry. My Biewer Terrier puppy is only 2 pounds so I put her bed in the bottom and it’s perfect for her! Would not hesitate to purchase again- great gift for a pet parent! I love all the mesh so she can see and have lots of ventilation!

Great product only thing is there was a a few white spots on the mesh of the carrier. Besides that product works fine, easy to use, nicely designed. No longer need to strap in my Pomeranian it’s great for busy pawparents.

I have tried many pet car seats. The borders were to low, so my dog felt unsafe. With this pet seat, it is easy to install. It is big enough but not too big for my Maltese 15 pounds. Because of the top we can close, the dog and me feel she is much protected if I have to brake fast. My dog felt secure enough to lie down. I did put a cushion in it. So far, I am very pleased that my dog does not seem as scared as she was in other seats. She does not breathe as much. But she was used to go around in a stroller. Looks like her stroler. So if you have a stroler, your dog migth enjoy the ride more since it is similar.
