Happy with the fan and so is my snake. Helps keep her enclosure regulated at the temp and humidity that she needs. Only thing is it’s a little loud but nothing extreme. Size and quality is good. It comes with a mount for the top of a tank but not the side so keep that in mind. I just prop it up and that works well enough. Plug it in and use it really easily after configuring the settings, good for the money

Sure it's great for terrariums like advertised, however, for vivariums it seems to do very little or you'd need more than one to make a difference really

Great little product

This review is for Petyoung Ventilation Fan for Reptile Enclosure, Efficient Cooling Fan Reptile Humidity Gauge with LED Display for Rainforest Terrarium.I like this fan - it is a neat well made unit and easy to set up and operate. When you first plug it in to the USB it is in manual mode with the fan operating all the time. There is also a continuous temperature and humidity display. The temperature only displays Fahrenheit and cannot be changed to Celsius - this is disappointing and I don't know why a product sold in the UK would be like this.Using the set button you can choose the humidity level at which the fan starts up in automatic mode. You cannot have a temperature trigger, only humidity. I set mine at 85% for my rainforest paludarium and when I installed the sensor in the tank, the fan came on as expected. It was then a simple matter of installing the fan above a hole in the acrylic roof to blow dry air in or suck humid air out...blowing air in is slightly better as it creates a breeze inside the tank. I can now leave the fan in automatic mode so whenever the humidity gets too high, the wind will blow fresh air in. I would have liked the option to set a temperature trigger too - but this is not possible with this model. Also, as the air blows down into the tank, I cannot actually see the temperature and humidity display when it is installed, which is a shame.With a few small negatives, mainly the lack of Celsius display, I knock off one star so this gets a four star rating. It is priced at around £19 at the time of review, so is reasonably good value for money.
