Habe eine vernünftige Stirnlampe fürs Wandern, Hüttentouren und gelegentlichem Bergkraxeln gesucht - und....gefunden.3 verschiedene Leuchtstärken bei weißem Licht und 2 bei rotem (wovon rot-blinkend wohl eher für einen Notfall gedacht ist und hoffentlich keine Anwendung finden muss).Was mich letztendlich aber vollends überzeugt hat, ist, dass sie sowohl mit wechselbarem Akku, als auch mit normalen AAA Batterien funktioniert und damit weitaus langlebiger als Produkte, die ausschließlich auf fest verbauten Akku setzen.Manche Nutzer beschweren sich über die umständlich zu öffnende Akkuabdeckung (man muss sie öffnen, wenn man den Akku laden möchte) - ja, es ist manchmal etwas hakelig, aber die Vorteile der Lampe überwiegen bei weitem, so dass ich hier auf jeden Fall die höchste Sternebewertung vergeben will.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this head torch. I've owned a small emergency head torch by Petzl before which was very well considered for its purpouse, so figured I couldn't go to far wrong with them - but my expectations were surpassed.A few things I love about it:- Build quality is good. Materials don't feel cheap or flimsy and it's well weather sealed.- Being able to have a rechargeable lithium battery in it but also use AAA's as a backup is the best of both worlds- functionality is simple, only 3 brightness levels on the main beams, and red solid/flashing mode.- the battery life indicator when you turn it on or offf is excellent and very handy- the ability to lock it with a long-press is something I don't know why isn't on every head torch, the amount of times i've found a torch dead after it turned on in my bag is beyond countingIf i had one complaint, it's that you still need to open up the battery compartment to charge it, rather than a USB port on the outside. I can understand that compromise though as it's a standard AAA battery compartment and the rechargeable battery is a removable item which the USB lead plugs directly into. I suppose that actually is rather handy, as it allows you to recharge it separately while using your backup AAA's to keep the torch in action.Overall verdict- excellent head torch with good life, plenty of light on tap, and some very well thought out design.

Very good light, convenient and batteries last. Very handy for finding our way back when it gets dark hunting. I use mine for working at night, pouring bridge deck concrete.

La utilizo para correr y en mis salidas de madrugada me funciona excelente. Es muy ligera, sus modos de iluminación me sirven perfecto para iluminar el sendero y la duración de la batería es excelente.

I use this on my bike helmet. the medium brightness level is plenty (100 lumins?) and the batteries last way longer, but I can use the lower level if I'm off the bike, and I have brighter to go if I need it. on bikes I recommend two lights: one on your head to Iluminate where you look, and one on the handlebars to illuminate in front of where you're steering.Batteries: Bonus feature: the battery packs for these are removable and rechargeable via USB Micro and are the same form factor as three AAA batteries, so in an emergency you can pick up a pack of standard AAA batteries at a store along your route to get you home. the "Core" battery packs are pricey though, and often sold out where I buy them locally. I typically keep at least 3 in rotation, which I number with sharpie when new. I use them sequentially to ensure I use them equally. by having three to rotate through, when I deplete #1, I replace it with #2, put #1 to charge when I get home, then I still have #3 to replace #2 with while #1 is charging.Battery longevity: I forget how long the medium setting is supposed to last because I mostly only use them an hour at a time and just swap to the next spare when they run out. I think it was something like 8-10 hours, so that's like a week of winter commutes an hour each and like two weeks of summer commutes. You know when they start to wear out because you no longer get the longevity.The style of the headband on these newer models actually unclips at one of the size adjusters, allowing me to thread the band through the ventilation holes of my helmet and re-clip it. the older versions I had to cut the band off and buy hook & loop straps for this, which meant then I couldn't use it off the helmet afterwards.
