Purchased this to go with a expensive black pepper mill. It's very difficult to find a standalone salt shaker in this color! We had been using one with a single hole that the salt just dumped out of. This one distributes the crystals evenly without being too much. Great buy for such a simple little thing!

I love a good pepper grinder, but don’t see the need for a salt mill. Thus, a fine, simple salt shaker was my goal, and this delivered, big time. Sure, it looks great, but the key quality is that it delivers a predictable, smallish dash of salt per shake. A good friend at the table, built for the long haul.
