Peugeot ENERGYSaw-600 handmatige verstekzaag, 600 mm

Needed a larger mitre saw compared to my old Nobex. This Peugeot offers good value at 39 Euro, build quality is decent using metal parts where needed. The ABS plastic table comes mounted on a MDF wooden base which makes it hefty enough.Then they just had to add the tilt function. This may look good on paper, but in practice it’s difficult to start an accurate cut as the sawblade drifts away. Biggest issue is the much wider gap required in the fence, which makes clamping very troublesome on short / tall workpieces. For which I bought this thing. Picture added for comparison: Nobex may be overrated, still they got their design first time right.
